Dishes and Utensils
It is critical to remember that any wooden plate, bowl, utensil, cutting board, or any other similar items must be treated carefully to ensure a long life. The following lists of ALWAYS DO's and NEVER DO's will help you do the right thing for your kitchen items.
-Hand wash in warm water with a mild dish soap and a soft cloth or sponge
-Dry immediately with a soft dish towel
-Allow to completely air dry
-At least once a month, apply a food-grade mineral oil or other food-safe finish to all surfaces. This keeps the wood sealed, moisturized, and looking great
-Put in the dishwasher
-Use abrasive cleaners or rough sponges or scrapers
-Put in the microwave
-Soak in water
